Welcome to our final Sibshop of the year 2022. We are super grateful for any opportunity to be with our Sibshoppers. Our crafting Trickle In activity was to create some Melted Crayon Art Masterpieces. All that's required is a cheese grater, some old crayons, parchment paper and an iron.
Put all that together with a little elbow grease and creativity and you end up with something super fun like these!
We introduced a new game today that was simple and easy with very little prep. Catch The Cup turned out to be ridiculously fun. You play with a partner and all each of you need is a Red Solo cup. You toss one cup and all your partner has to do is catch it in theirs. It's not as easy as it sounds...
November is a great time to practice Thankfulness so of course that's what we did. We watched this amazing video about the link between gratitude and happiness.
Following the video we put outselves to work to see if gratitude would indeed make us happier. We used our melted crayon art to create some one of a kind Thank You Notes for people we appreciate.
Following a yummy warm lunch of soup and bread we played a silly game of "Zap It!"
All you do is bounce a tennis ball and try and score points by hitting the targets. Just make sure you don't hit a turkey or you're zapped and lose ALL your points!
You may have seen this activity making its rounds on social media. We thought it might be fun to try it out with our Sibshoppers. Here's "Boom, Clap, Snatch!"
Our Thanksgiving version of "Don't Eat Pete" meant the kids were yelling out "Don't Eat Tom!" instead. Once their turn at munching M&Ms was over, each Sibshopper was asked to identify something specific they are grateful for.
Happy Holidays from Sibshops of Utah County.
We will see you in January 2023.
