April 2022

Spring has Sprung-"ish". A Utah Spring is a always a bit finicky,
but we were certainly glad to celebrate together at Sibshops.
As we gathered we created some fun finger print art.
💗How adorable is this little creature?💗
The kids always get super creative and impress us facilitators with their skill and imagination.

We had a handful of new Sibshoppers at this month's workshop. We spent time going over
Expectations & Consequences and just getting to know one another.

We got up and moving while we played a much loved game of "Color Guard."
The color guard protects the eggs from making it in the basket.

The other players are racing to get their egg into the basket when their color is called.

Small group bibliotherapy was next on the agenda.

Reading books together about special needs gives us an opportunity to
learn, share, empathize and discuss our lives and experiences with one another.

Lunch was tasty and we were too busy consuming it to take photos.
Then we went outside to burn off some of that energy by playing "All Out!"
The goal of the game is to get as many objects tossed out of your square
and into the square of an opposing team.
You may be confined to your square, but it sure takes a lot of energy & action to compete.

It's said that April Showers Bring May Flowers.
We were lucky that the rain held off long enough to allow us to do an Egg Hunt.
We brought our goodies inside to inventory and munch. Yum.
Inside many of the eggs were "Questions to Consider." As we munched we spent some time answering these questions with one another. Among other things, we talked about times we felt pride, things we most enjoy doing with our siblings, and challenges we face as siblings.

See you in May!
