Welcome to our April Sibshop!
We gathered and started creating right away. Our walking caterpillars were colorful and fun- and when we got the folding right they did actually walk!
After our welcome and introductions, we were excited to try out a new game to our Sibshops crew.
The kids really loved playing "Human Tic Tac Toe."
"Strengths & Weaknesses" provided a great opportunity for the Sibshoppers to find a partner and get to know one another better. They interviewed one another to learn all about the strengths and weaknesses of one another and their sibling with special needs.
"Cups & Downs" is a Sibshops Classic that our Sibshoppers get a kick of out.
Following lunch we tried out a new game which proved to be pretty hysterical.
"Telephone Charades" had us equal parts confused and amused.
We wrapped up the Sibshop with a little bibliotherapy. The book was all about big emotions
. Our Sibshoppers shared their thoughts and experiences about anxiety, worry,
self acceptance and emotional support.
