Welcome to our August Sibshop! It was our last of the summer before school starts in just a few days.
Our Sibshoppers LOVED this trickle in activity. They spent almost 40 minutes creating these amazing paper sculptures. We had to drag them away to play more games and have more fun!
We welcomed each other to Sibshops and reviewed our rules & expections prior to playing some crazy fun rounds of "Triangle Tag."
Once we tired from tag, we sat down to enjoy a little "movie" together. This video called "What it's Like Having a Sibling with a Disability" had the kids making all sorts of connections to their own experiences. We then shared them on a graffiti wall. You can see the results below.
We munched on lunch while mingling and listening to some tunes.
Cups & Downs is a silly competitive game that gets the blood pumping. One team wants the cups up and the other team wants them down. Clock starts and you try and get as many cups facing your way as possible before time runs out.
It was a chaotic but enjoyable way to end our August Sibshop. We all had a Creamie on our way out the door, admired our paper sculpture city and are looking forward to our September Workshop.
