July 2011
A good time was had by all who attended July's Sibshop. From fun crafts to water games our volunteers had activities for everyone to get involved.
June's Sibshop was a lot of fun. We started out doing some Finger Print Art. We all got super creative and our fingers got really messy.

We played outside because the weather was so nice. Sharks were in the water, and lifeguards did their best to save us, but in the end the sharks won.
HELP!!

The weather was so nice, we decided to have a snow ball fight. :) Yup a snow ball fight in the middle of June.

No one objects when pizza is on the menu for lunch.

We played four corners.
And we watched a small video clip about other sibshoppers in New York, in preparation to make our own video in the future.
We said goodbye to our favorite volunteers Dave and Shellie. We will miss them and we sure appreciate all of the fun we had with them. Thank you so much.

May 2011
May Sibshop was a blast! The weather was finally nice enough to head outside. Sibshoppers took full advantage of the nice day.
Each Sibshopper wrote an "I am" poem. It was fun to see all the different responses to the fill in the blank layout.
Those who finished their poem early, drew self portraits on the back of their poem. Some of the pictures were just as creative as the poems on the other side.
Group beanbag juggling got really tricky when we all got together.
Sibshoppers closed in tight to make a useless machine.
Feelings beanbag toss was a chance for everyone to share good and bad feelings they have about their sibling with disabilities.
We picnicked outside for because of the nice weather.
Everyone loved toppling towers. We played 2 rounds.
