Our March Sibshop was full of fun! We made a handful of new friends in our first time Sibshop attendees. We hope you all keep coming out for more fun and friendship!
In honor of St. Patricks Day, we made some shamrock nametags. We filled in the empty space with a word that describes us and some of our favorites--movie, game, food and color. We are a diverse group, but do share lots of the same likes-especially for pizza!
A game of "Airport" kept us moving down an airstrip lined with all sorts of obstacles! Depending upon one another for information and support, our human airplanes were able to successfully navigate their way to a safe landing. Mackenzie decided to celebrate her birthday a little early with her Sibshop friends. Thanks for sharing your fun 'Kung Fu Panda" birthday cake with all of us! I bet you can guess what her favorite movie is. The activity you see here is called "Action Art." The kids work together to fill in the blanks with colors and patterns and then to put a mystery puzzle togther. They were magnificently quick at putting this one together to discover the word "Lucky". They then shared with one another ways that they are lucky having a sibling with special needs. Somehow we didn't end up with any photographs of our "Behavior Modification" Activity. Our Sibshoppers are super creative and had one another behaving like King Julian from "Madagascar" and Godzilla! What a fun game with some fun friends.
